Concrete Mixing Plants
Abramson owns and operates Erie Strayer Central Mix Concrete Plants. These state-of-the-art mixing plants deliver high-output concrete production with consistent quality. They are designed to support demanding, large-scale projects with minimal downtime. Abramson sister company, A.G. Peltz Group, operates several pugmill plants, which are capable of producing high quality cement-treated bases, meeting the FAA P304 Specification.
Slipform Pavers
We run a range of slipform paving machines, including the Wirtgen SP 25i, Wirtgen SP 64i, and Wirtgen SP 94i, known for its high productive capacity (paving up to 35 feet width) precision in tight work zones and ability to produce various monolithic profiles. We also own a Wirtgen 64i placer/spreader and a Wirtgen TCM 180i curing machine, both of which are utilized on projects with tight rideability specifications.
We also use Miller Formless machines, valued for their reliability and adaptability on curbs, gutters, barrier walls, bridge rails, and complex shapes.
Grading & Material Handling
We use heavy equipment for site preparation and material handling, including graders for fine grading and surface leveling, dozers for rough grading and land clearing, and loaders for moving and loading aggregates, debris, and other materials. We also have material transfer devices, aggregate bins systems as well as storage silos for cement and fly ash.
Supporting Equipment
To keep operations running smoothly, we rely on a range of support equipment, including trowels for finishing concrete, air compressors to power tools and systems, sawing equipment for precise concrete cutting, trucks for transporting materials and machinery, and attenuators to enhance safety in active work zones.
